Lazy Memorial Day & Family Cookout

Saturday was a lazy day. We just putts around the house and watched t.v. mostly. Cleaned house a little, let the kids swim after dinner in the inflatable pool. Today (Sunday), we cleaned the house a little more and I made baked beans to take over to my in-laws for a family cookout. ♥ We had lots of fun! Hamburgers & Hotdogs! Homemade Ice Cream! YUM!

Early To Bed

I went to bed early last night and didn't get a chance to post so, here's another double post. I didn't do much during the day on Thursday. I went to Lowe's to look at some flowers but, I didn't get any. They had some pretty daisy looking flowers in assorted bright colors the other day and didn't get them and today they were gone. I could just kick myself. They were so pretty. I don't know what they are called. I think it started with a C. Hehe! Today I went with my friend to Taco Casa for lunch and had the Super Bean Burrito. I said "No tomatoes, No sour cream." I didn't know it had black olives or I would have just said "Bean & Cheese" because that's all that was left after I picked all of the olives out. Haha! Gee I'm picky! After lunch we headed to Half Price Books and I ended up getting a cookbook. I ♥ cookbooks! Now I have one more to add to the collection. Wee! After dinner we went to Grandma's house for Daddy & the boys to get free haircuts. I am all about FREE! Thanks Grandma!! ♥

Anniversary Dinner

The entire family went to Salt Grass Steak House for dinner to celebrate my in-laws' 50th Wedding Anniversary. This was my splurge for the week. After that we went to Mom & Dad's for cake & ice cream and the kids played soccer with all their cousins in the back yard. It was fun!

Happy Mother's Day One And All

Today is Mother's Day and I had a great one and I hope you did too. We went out to eat at the Blackeyed Pea with the hubby's folks & sister & her family. I was good and got the Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad & Unsweetened Tea. The rolls were sitting right under my nose and it was so tempting. It took all I had not to reach down and pluck one up and splather it all up with butter. Spread & Lather Equal Splather. Yeah...I made that one up. Hehe!

Showing Some Appreciation

Today for Teacher Appreciation my friend & I took Ice Cream up to our daughter's 5th grade class. We are the room moms. It was fun and the kids enjoyed it. I didn't have any. Yay me! The ice cream was kind of melted so we had to be fast at the scooping. Hehe! Messy! Before that I had lunch with the hubby. He worked from home today. I just love it when the hubby gets a day off! Love Me Some Hamburger

The hubby grilled hamburgers for dinner. Mm...Love me some hamburger. Cheeseburger actually. Hehe! I love hamburgers almost as much as I loves me some steak smothered in A1. I wish they would bring back the Western Sizzlin'. Remember that place?! I use to go there with my then best friend ALL the time. There and Burger King to get the Mustard Whopper With Cheese. OMGarsh! So good!

I Scream!... You Scream!... Yeah...I Ate Too Much Ice Cream!

We went to Nicholas' soccer game and he did really well and made a few goals so we went to Braum's to celebrate. I had a strawberry sundae. Later, my friend called and wanted to know if we could meet up at Chick-fi-la to let the kids play. Well...It was dinner time so, we ordered food and I got the 4 piece kids chicken nugget meal and traded the toy in for ice cream. That's right! More ice cream!!
