Rippin' & Runnin'

I have just been rippin' & runnin' around today. Dropped the kids off at school, went to the grocery store, cleaned house and squeezed in a movie. I went to see "You Again". It was a good chick flick. I really enjoyed it! After the movie, I went to Kohl's to look around and then to Target and got the girls a bra. Woo Hoo! Yep! That was my day! Busy & Fun. Burst Of Energy

Great School Day

Still Craving The Sweets

I am still craving those sweets! Gr...Today I planned on taking the kids to see a movie at the dollar movies so, I went to Walgreen's to get candy & coke for everyone. But, we ended up not going because no one could decide on a movie so, I said just forget it and we stayed home. I ate that whole box of Sugar Babies in one sitting. Oh My! Then I drank Coke! A whole 12 ounce bottle and then I had one later with dinner! I need to stop this before it gets out of hand. I really know I do. Luck to me!

In A Tizzy Tuesday

The day started out okay. The kids slept later than usual. I told them that we were going to go to the library to learn about cows and get an ice cream sandwich and they were excited & me too! We went and it was outside of course and hot as all get out. Us girls got in the shade and the boys wanted to be up close & personal with the cow in the blazing HOT sun. Jake came to me and said he didn't feel well and all of a sudden his eyes rolled back and he went all limp in the knees. Very scary. He didn't go all the way out into a complete faint but, that was enough to scare me so, I took him into the cool library and sat with him until he came around. Pretty scary. He was okay once he cooled off. After that they handed ice cream sandwiches. I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon again! P.S. No ice cream sandwich for me! Hehe!

I'm Back!

We had a great time on our vacation. Got back yesterday. We went to Robbers Cave State Park in Oklahoma. Lots to do. Swimming pool, snow cones, miniature golf, paddle boats, Hiking up to Robbers Cave, Cable In The Cabins (Heaven) Hehe! We ate out the first night (Mexican), the second night we grilled hamburgers, the third night we grilled hot dogs and on the way home we had McDonalds for lunch. It was a 3 hr. car trip. More like 4 with all the bathroom breaks. LOL! That's just part of it! Now it's back to the routine!

Apologies

Many apologies for not posting. I have no excuse. Since I've missed a few days, I'll just start over with today's food choices. An update on the weight loss: I have currently lost 67 pounds and I have 27 more to go to hit my goal weight. I have gone from a size 18/20 to a size 10 or 11/12 in stretch pants (It depends on the kind) & Large/XL in Juniors in shirts. Very exciting! My weight as of today is 176 pounds. I've been kind of stuck this week but, I am not going to give up.

Rough Riders Game

Night At The Movies

My friend & I went to see the 3rd installment of the Twilight saga "Eclipse". It was really good! I wish they would show a preview at the end. It left me wanting so much more! Hehe! Chicken Salad Palooza

Today we celebrated at All Saints Catholic Church everyone that had a 50th Anniversary. It was cute seeing all the old timers dressed up in their best duds. Hehe! At one point in the Mass, Father asked the married people to stand up so we could renew our wedding vows. We took each others hands and gazed into each others eyes and repeated after Father. ♥ After Mass they had a reception and we were served Salad, Pasta Salad, & Chicken Salad On A Roll, Cake & Lemonade Or Tea.

After church we went to Hayley's soccer swim party and the kids swam and the adults talked and they had chicken salad sandwiches & chips & soft drinks.

It was a chicken salad kind of day! Chicken...Chicken..Bock! Bock!

Mini Vacation

Not So Exciting

Today was a not so exciting day. I had to take my oldest to the doctor. Turns out she has an ear infection. She is taking antibiotics and should be good as new soon. Yay! I bribed the kids if they were good at the doctor's office I would let them pick out a piece of candy when we filled the prescription at Walgreens and they were and we did. Haha! Bad Mama. Anyway...That's all we did today! As far as food I did okay but, I had a glass of leaded Dr. Pepper and have been really mad at everything today. That caffeine is BAD for my mood!

Lazy Memorial Day & Family Cookout

Saturday was a lazy day. We just putts around the house and watched t.v. mostly. Cleaned house a little, let the kids swim after dinner in the inflatable pool. Early To Bed

I went to bed early last night and didn't get a chance to post so, here's another double post. I didn't do much during the day on Thursday. I went to Lowe's to look at some flowers but, I didn't get any. They had some pretty daisy looking flowers in assorted bright colors the other day and didn't get them and today they were gone. I could just kick myself. They were so pretty. I don't know what they are called. I think it started with a C. Hehe! Today I went with my friend to Taco Casa for lunch and had the Super Bean Burrito. I said "No tomatoes, No sour cream." I didn't know it had black olives or I would have just said "Bean & Cheese" because that's all that was left after I picked all of the olives out. Haha! Gee I'm picky! After lunch we headed to Half Price Books and I ended up getting a cookbook. I ♥ cookbooks! Now I have one more to add to the collection. Wee! After dinner we went to Grandma's house for Daddy & the boys to get free haircuts. I am all about FREE! Thanks Grandma!! ♥

Anniversary Dinner

Happy Mother's Day One And All

Today is Mother's Day and I had a great one and I hope you did too. We went out to eat at the Blackeyed Pea with the hubby's folks & sister & her family. I was good and got the Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad & Unsweetened Tea. The rolls were sitting right under my nose and it was so tempting. Showing Some Appreciation

Today for Teacher Appreciation my friend & I took Ice Cream up to our daughter's 5th grade class. We are the room moms. It was fun and the kids enjoyed it. I didn't have any. Yay me! We went to Nicholas' soccer game and he did really well and made a few goals so we went to Braum's to celebrate. I had a strawberry sundae. Later, my friend called and wanted to know if we could meet up at Chick-fi-la to let the kids play. Well...It was dinner time so, we ordered food and I got the 4 piece kids chicken nugget meal and traded the toy in for ice cream. That's right! More ice cream!!

Tuesday At The Movies

As of this morning I am down 50 pounds and it feels good! I haven't been exercising which is a real shocker. I hate exercise! LOL! Grandpa's Birthday Celebration

Today was Howard's dad's birthday and we went over to Grandma & Grandpa's house to celebrate for dinner. Grandpa turned 75 today! Happy Birthday Grandpa! It was after 7:00 when it came to have it so, I passed. It looked so yummy.

Just Boppin' Around

Today I went to Target to look for Hayley, Madison & Jake's b-day gifts and to Michael's for a cake box & card board. That's right folks! I'm making their cake this year. It's so hard not to lick that bowl. Hold me back! I'm going to attempt to make a rainbow (tie dye) cake. We'll see how it goes. When I got home I oiled the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms. They look so clean and shiny now! I also vacuumed. So, I was just boppin' around trying to get some things done for the party on Sunday. I still need to clean the bathrooms. I started at 244 on here and I think for the competition I started at 132 or something like that, and am now at 199. I *finally* broke out of the 200's. Ta Da! Yay! I made tacos tonight for dinner. I made the mistake of dumping out all the bags of cheese that just had a little in each bag into a big bowl. It was just there so, I kept picking up a little pinch here and a little pinch there. Nibble, Nibble. Like a little mouse. Notice I didn't say BIG FAT mouse. That's what I feel like now. Squeak!

Happy Day

Today was a happy day. I got to see my best friend and spend part of the day with her and her kids. We sat around and talked and let the kids play. We watched "Aqua Marine" with the girls. It was fun. We had to cut the visit short because we both needed to go to the grocery store. I love days like these.

Too Much

I think I ate too much today. It was my nephew's b-day party and they had homemade hamburgers. But, the grill wasn't working so they made the hamburgers in the frying pan. Not with oil or anything but, still. I was hungry so, I ate it anyway as not to be rude also. I passed on the cake. Before the party I ate lunch around 11:00. A Lean Cuisine meal. I didn't know that they were going to have food. I just thought cake & ice cream. Shows what I know. So, I ate at 11:00 and then again at 3:00. I called the burger at 3:00 dinner. When we got home everyone else wanted dinner so, daddy made hot dogs on the grill for him & the kids. I passed on the snack too. I need to get back on the routine.

Weigh In Day

My friend and I ran up to Walmart today. I was going to go to Target but, she talked me into Walmart. I wanted to get the movie "New Moon" and a few things to make the hubby his birthday cake for tomorrow. German Chocolate. Mm...We got our things we needed and she wanted to go through the drive thru at Arby's to get her, her hubby & little boy something to eat. So, we pull up and we don't see the menu. It just had breakfast stuff and drinks. We said to the guy at the window we didn't see it and he said back up a little so we did and we still didn't see it! Know why?! We weren't at Arby's. We were at Starbucks. Hahahahaha! We pull through and throw up the hands and shrug the shoulders like a couple of idiots. You would think at least one of us would have figured it out as long as we sat there. We finally roll around to the Arby's drive thru and when the stuff comes out she asks ME to hold it! Gee...Thanks. I had to sit there and smell it up close & personal on what seemed to be the longest ride home, ever. LOL!

I did well on the eating today until we all went to Grandma & Grandpa's house. We went over for a visit and to get everyone's hair cut. We are having family/church pictures made this Friday. We went to...wait for it...Spring Creek Barbeque for dinner. I had the loaded baked potato with chopped beef & 2 buttered rolls. How bad am I?! Plus, a REAL Coke. Oh my gosh! It's been so long since I had a REAL Coke. It was HEAVEN! Ah...! Now, the guilt sets in. With weigh in day tomorrow, I shudder to think what the results will be in the morning. Bag over head.
